Cyclonic oil mist extractors
LOSMA GALILEO cyclonic oil mist extractors are designed for individual purification systems. The GALILEO is installed next to the machine, either nearby or directly on the roof. It is suitable for machine tools that use emulsion as a cutting fluid. The oil mist present in the machine cabin is extracted. It is filtered by the effect before being returned to the atmosphere via a high-efficiency HEPA13 post-filter. In addition, the negative pressure generated by the GALILEO during the extraction of oil mist helps to contain the polluted air in the cabin. It is important to take into account the spray pressure of the machine’s pumps and the application. When the machine tool is equipped with high-pressure spray pumps, the resulting high atomisation requires the use of a pre-filtration module.
The GGUARD pre-filter acts as a settling chamber, reducing the speed and trapping micro-oil droplets, fine particles and volatile chips. The coalesced micro-oil droplets are drained. They can be returned either to the machine’s sump or to a separate sump.
