DETEX GRAVITY FILTER

The DETEX filtration systems for cutting fluids, manufactured by LOSMA, are designed for production applications using cutting fluids, either neat oil or emulsions. Equipped with a belt with automatic feed controlled by a high level sensor, filtration is provided by the filter media resting on the belt. This filter media comes in the form of a roll that is installed on a support and unwinds as the belt advances. The saturated media is discharged into the container provided for this purpose, which is positioned at the end of the belt.

The DETEX is therefore an economical and easy-to-integrate solution that meets the filtration needs of production applications. It is particularly suitable for applications using materials whose chips and sludge remain on the surface of the cutting fluid.

Installing a DETEX filtration system essentially allows you to:

• Improve the surface finish of parts,
• Reduce tool wear,
• Limit clogging and wear of grinding wheels in grinding applications.
• Extend the service life of the cutting fluid,
• Reduce maintenance costs.

The DETEX range consists of several models with different flow rates:

• 30 to 500 L/min for 5% emulsion,
• 15 to 250 L/min for whole oil with a viscosity of 20cst at 40°.

Flow rate with 35 g/m² filter media. Other media available on request.

DETEX filtration systems for cutting fluids are suitable for a wide range of machine tools, such as:

• Transfer machines

DETEX is also suitable for machine-side solutions. This makes it possible to offer user-friendly and economical solutions. This purifier consists of a mat resting on a tank for the filtered liquid. The mat moves forward automatically when the level is high.

As an option, it is also possible to add:

• Pre-filtration by magnetic separator, DECOM version
• Roll end detector
• A cooling unit or exchanger to be connected to a chilled water network,
• An oil separator to remove foreign oils,
• Lifting tank,

• Control cabinet.
